Chris, I've taken pics of these azaleas before, but not close-ups like this. I was over inspecting them and noting that starfish-like shape of the individual blossoms, hadn't really noticed that before. When I returned with the camera, I spotted the yellow streak blending into that wonderful orangy-pink you love. The whole experience was a revelation and I wondered how I could have missed this before, or if not, how I could have forgotten. Guess that's why we keep returning to the ordinary and familiar - there's always more to see!
