When you can't actually create, "design" with your camera. Fair to say I've taken dozens and dozens of photos that could be considered reference photos as well as many just to hone my framing/composition skills. Training the eye to see and compose is an important part of being an artist. Sometimes I'm successful, sometimes not so much!
